| Scarborough is a western suburb of Perth, Western Australia. Its local government area is the City of Stirling. Its post code is 6019.It is approximately 14 km by road northwest of central Perth. Scarborough is a melting pot with Homeswest homes next to opulent homes. The most prestigious areas are Alga Street, Hastings Street, Lewin Way, Peasholm Street and newly created Bella Vista. Nearby suburbs include Doubleview to the east, Trigg to the north, and City Beach and Wembley Downs to the south.It has a population of about 12,000 people (2001 census), of whom about 25% were born overseas.
